Honest and hardworking people are never governed by dishonest and treacherous people.
The people of the USA is often deceived or just glad to follow the assumptions and exceptionalism of the USA, even if they are criticizing their government.
You always hear someone overstating the importance of the USA in the World, as if the USA were indispensable part of the fundamental basis of any economy. While people like Marco Rubio who says if Iran stopped investing in war and turned to their own people, it would be a different country.
Iran would be a different country if the USA had not meddled along with the UK in its politics, and left them to follow their path to be a nation they wanted to be. Alas, a nation that owes its creditors their GDP times over, and bear an army that is the least cost effective in the World, and it costs more than the country can pay.
Then you have people like this:
These people think that even if the POTUS is the responsible for the problem, the problem he caused should be handled by the rest of the World because the USA is too big to fail, and the World relies on the USA for its own feeding.
If you live in the USA, you should know some stuff. First, that not even half of the food consumed in the World is produced or sourced in the USA. Companies which home base is the USA often subsidize the food they sell in the USA by exploiting the industries and agro sector of other countries.
The chemicals and oil derivatives the USA use in foods are often banned in other countries, and most of them do not require the USA for anything to feed their people. China, the actual World champion of raising people from poverty and finding ways to feed a population the USA would never be able to, they have a thing or two to teach about it.
Here in Brazil, people might say food is expensive, but anyone who lived abroad and get honest about it has no choice to admit it: Food here is one of the cheapest around.
I lived in 8 countries, and worked for some time in other dozen. The only country I found that food is generally cheaper than Brazil is Thailand.
And it is quality food. Even if they were to cost the exact same than USA's, it is of superior quality and superior freshness.
Even the corn, in every BRICS founder country the corn is of a superior quality than the USA's.
The USA is a dead weight, with its paper markets and "free trade" deception. It imposes a cost in anyone trading with it, and imposes trade over threats in deals that could easily fall under the Racketeering law in the very own USA.
And that is historical recurring fact since over half a century already. You can find even documented facts about how the USA food industry destroyed several countries in its wake.
Alas, we dont need even to go that far. The very own USA farmers know that to be true. It is just looking the recent story. And interesting video I found a while back over a farmer that provided to a stamp restaurant and had to eat there because he had no money to buy food. And that was a time ago, but I think now they are soon to reduce that also.
Meanwhile, here, and most States, I can go to a popular restaurant that feed people for 0.1 USD roughly, and eat quality food. And I dont even need to someone receiving government aid, I just can be someone who like to live frugally.
Even if I would not, I could handle eating for a very small price, eating food produced locally, and of better quality.
At this point, BRICS founders, members and interested parties account for a vast portion of the food production in the World, and added to whatever Europe can do to itself, it pushes the importance of food shortage in the USA very far from a "Global Issue".
That is the problem. Even as a USA citizen, people tend to be too self important to gather any sympathy from the people around the World. They need to start to come together and think about themselves as a part of the World, a part that is not the most important, one of the most important, or really that important, for the Global general trade.
The only thing the USA is really relevant in the World as a whole is the destruction it is capable and willing to inflict. And that, for now, is the only thing it can try to use to keep this self important atitude in foreign relations it does.
However, we need to take in consideration that cheap drones, mass production of Oreshniks and other systems, allied with the Economic delicate situation of the USA, and it makes for a soon to be irrelevant aspect of the USA either.
Better to stop with the "USA problems are global problems" thinking, before it blows up in your face.
